For the third year in a row, the Callander Volunteer Firefighters Association is Hosting "Sirens in the park" August 23,
There will be children’s activities all day beginning with a free pancake breakfast and a fundraising BBQ lunch.
There will be face painting and a bouncy castle; Firefighter Fire fit Challenge, auto extrication demonstration and much more. The Day will end with The Lego movie on the big screen in the park.
You an meet the firefighters and learn about equipment that keeps the community and firefighters safe.
Through a focus on public education the goal is to increase fire safety and awareness..
Fundraising will go towards the acquisition of new equipment for the fire department.
We will be in Centennial Park on Main Street and the event consists of fire education and prevention for all ages.
