If you are looking to get up bright and early on Black Friday, you may be out of luck.
For instance, at Northgate Shopping Centre, mall officials say the stores will be operating at their normal store hours on Friday partially due to the challenges of staffing.
"It has been difficult for some retailers to staff even their current business hours," said Jordanna Grant, marketing director at Northgate Shopping Centre in North Bay.
"Shoppers are encouraged to reach out to individual retailers if they are looking for store specific information."
However, if you are looking for pre-Christmas Black Friday deals, the fact is, many stores are already offering Black Friday deals throughout the week.
"The shopping centre has been very busy which is such a positive thing," said Grant.
"Many retailers will be taking part in Black Friday sales, it’s the perfect time to shop for the holidays."
Grant says more retailers are setting up for the holiday season with The Hidden Gem Gifts, Burrows and Koolhats all setting up in the mall this month.
