Sexual assault investigation yields multiple charges

A North Bay man being investigated for sexual assault now faces 25 charges, the North Bay Police Service says.

The charges involve young girls between 11 and 15,and the incidents are alleged to go as far back as 2002.

Gerald Gaudette, 68, of Landsdowne Avenue, has been charged with 11 counts of sexual assault, 11 counts of sexual interference, and three counts of invitation to sexual touching.

Gaudette was held for a bail hearing and appears in court today.
