Few details, but on Wednesday March 22 at 11:30 p.m. Almaguin Highlands OPP investigated a fire along with the Sundridge, Strong Fire Department, the South River, Machar Fire Department, the Office of the Fire Marshall and the Parry Sound Emergency Medical Services.
Police report that "two people were taken to hospital by EMS, one person suffered serious injuries after a fire started at a Cheryl Crescent residence," near Lake Bernard.
The investigation into the blaze is continuing.
