North Bay Police have charged a 23 year old female, an employee at a local Nursing Home with Theft and 6-counts-of Unauthorized use of Credit Card.

Bobbi-Jo Rose of Thelma Avenue will appear in Court in May to answer to the charges.

This investigation was initiated when the 87-year-old victim’s son became aware of the fraudulent use of his mothers credit card and discovered her wallet with other cards and identification had been stolen from her room at a nursing home where she has been confined to a wheelchair. It is alleged that the accused, a health care worker, had used the victim’s credit card over approximately 1-week period to make 6 purchases at various retail and service outlets in North Bay. The victim’s Identification and wallet have not been recovered.

Cst. Henry O’Neill of the North Bay Police is continuing his investigation.
