Resolution reached in North Bay Food Bank dispute

The North Bay Food Bank has been involved in litigation since March of 2012. All Parties to that dispute are pleased to announce the resolution of any and all litigation surrounding the past or present operation of the Food Bank.


In the interest of maintaining the Food Bank’s on-going commitment to serving the North Bay and surrounding area, the Parties have entered into Minutes of Settlement.


The Minutes of Settlement were entered into without any admission of fault or blame and prevent the Parties from commenting, in public or private, on the subject matters involved in the Litigation.


The resolution also provides for the terms and conditions of the Food Bank’s General Meeting and the Annual election of a Board of Directors.


The Parties have selected Mr. Stan Lawlor to chair the Annual General Meeting.


The Annual General Meeting is to be held at the Davedi Club on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.


The Meeting is open to the Public.


Any person over the age of 18 years may become a Member of the Food Bank and be entitled to vote for the Directors of the Board by completing an Application on or before 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 17, 2013.


Members must be present at the Meeting to vote.
