People passing The Beer Store on Cassells St. could be forgiven for a double-take this morning.
Worst case scenario, it could have been the store's supply of beer gushing out of the building, but turns out it's water.
Callers to Country600 CKAT reported the gushing liquid.
"It was like an ocean coming out of here," a beer store official told BayToday.
A picture taken by a passer-by shows a massive amount of water coming out the back loading dock door.
The listener says the city has been contacted and Public Works crews were on-site, but officials say it’s private property.
The store is closed temporarily and the officials say they are waiting for a contractor to arrive to determine the cause.
