Reel Northern II call for submissions

In 2009 N2M2L presented Reel Northern, a showcase of video and film works from Northern Ontario.

Four years later in partnership with the White Water Gallery, N2M2L is pleased to present Reel Northern II - a juried installation and screening of Northern Ontario media artists.

We are now accepting submissions from Media Artists in Northern Ontario under the following criteria:

• You are currently living in Northern Ontario (Parry Sound District and North)

• Your work is time-based media (Video, Film, Sound, and New Media)

• Your work is suitable for installation or for screening purposes

• You have total creative control over your work as an independent production and was produced outside of an educational institution

Please submit your supporting documentation with the following:

• Contact Information

• Title of program

• Length

• Project description

• CV

• Artist Statement

Supporting documentation will be accepted on DVD or data formats (.mov, .mp4, .avi). Submissions will not be returned.

Deadline: All submissions must be postmarked by April 1st, 2013

Work will be reviewed by the Near North Mobile Media Lab programming committee. N2M2L follows the IMAA recommended artist fee schedule for all presentations.

The Near North Mobile Media Lab is a mobile Media Arts access centre located in North Bay serving our region of media artists through presentation, artist support and education.
