Rain isn't expected to hit North Bay until 10 this evening, meaning the Bay Days concerts at the waterfront this evening should make it in under the wire.
Bad news is heavy rain is expected tonight and tomorrow.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for:
- North Bay - West Nipissing,
- Burk's Falls - Bayfield Inlet,
- Huntsville - Baysville,
- Parry Sound - Rosseau - Killbear Park
Expect increasing cloudiness this afternoon with moderate to heavy rain tonight into Saturday. Wind from the west at 20 km/h.
25 to 40 mm will be possible by the time the rain comes to an end on Saturday afternoon or evening.
Localized flooding in low-lying areas will be possible.
