Sharon Sproule, Grand Dame of northern stages, stars in this non-competitive piece, and although the Espanola actress’s piece is not up for adjudication, her list of Quonta and Theatre Ontario awards are plentiful.

The Festival, which could be likened to the Tony Awards, or in true Canadian tradition the Stanley Cup of Theatre, brings together the best onstage and backstage theatre talent in Northern Ontario.

Saturday night features ‘Mail Order Annie’ by Carl Cashin.

Tickets are just $15 and the doors open at 7:00 pm.

Rounding out the competition will be the Awards Brunch Sunday at 11:30 am at the Best Western on Lakeshore Drive.

There are 13 awards up for grabs including the coveted Best Production award that will see that cast continue on to the Theatre Ontario Awards in Belleville May 18th to 22nd.
