The Capitol Centre will be loosening restrictions effective today.

Proof of vaccination will no longer be required but it will maintain a 75 per cent capacity restriction for the month of March to allow a period for staff, volunteers and patrons to adjust to the ongoing changes.

Covid symptom screening will continue and masks will still be required for all events except when consuming food or beverages while seated.

"We are hopeful that this is one step closer to a pre-pandemic normal but will continue to follow public health and government authority advice and update our position as needed," said Katina Connolly, Executive Director.

“We are always optimistic that a step forward is a step in the right direction but ultimately the health and safety of our staff and patrons is our utmost priority and if we need to adjust our plans to ensure everyone has a positive theatre or gallery experience, then we won’t hesitate to do so.”
