Nipissing University Student 'Promote the Vote'

The Nipissing University student group Promote the Vote will be hosting the first public debate of the Provincial Election campaign on Tuesday, September 18th, 2007 at the Nipissing University theatre, Room F213. All three Candidates in the Nipissing riding (NDP Henri Giroux, Liberal Monique Smith, and PC Bill Vrebosch) have confirmed their attendance.

Candidates will begin to arrive at 3:00pm, and the debate will begin at precisely 3:30pm. All candidates will be given a chance to answer questions previously submitted by students, and then the floor will be opened to the candidates to debate the issue, at the discretion of the moderator. From 5:00 - 6:00 candidates will have booths set up outside the theatre with additional information available.

Members of the community, media, as well as students at Canadore and Nipissing, are welcome to attend.
