Premier Kathleen Wynne took the opportunity to pay a visit to One Kid's Place on  McKeown Avenue in North Bay this morning, but a promised announcement turned out to be a further discussion about a Liberal budget promise to fund prescription drugs for youth.

Called the Children and Youth Pharmacare Program, it makes prescription drugs free for people 24 and under January 1st, 2018.

At 1:15 this afternoon the Premier will be at Nipissing University to participate in what's being called "a Fireside Chat at FONOM".

A live stream will be available here
