Portable band saw mill stolen

Mattawa OPP is investigating a theft that occurred off of Hwy 17 in Papineau-Cameron Township where a portable band saw mill was from owner’s private property.

Sometime between Monday August 20th at 8:00 pm and Tuesday August 21st at 8:30 am, thieves went onto owner’s propriety on Hwy 17 in Papineau-Cameron Township and stole a portable band saw mill orange in color. The saw mill is described as a Wood-Mizer, 40hp Lombardini Turbo Diesel Motor on a 21’ bed with black covers for the engine, hydraulics and drive motor. The estimated value of stolen property exceeds $30,000.
