The North Bay Police Service is seeking the community’s assistance in identifying Baby Doe. This is someone’s baby boy and until we have some answers he is the community’s baby. He was found within just a few feet of a well used trail wrapped in a towel and protected from the elements by a plastic bag, which was first noticed about one month ago as the snow began to melt around him.

This may be a case where the pregnancy was very difficult and the mother may have felt trapped, alone and afraid in desperate circumstances. We know that she thinks about this everyday and especially at times like the upcoming Easter weekend where families gather. We feel it might be important for her to finally put her son to rest, the rest that he deserves. She can do that by calling North Bay Police and helping us put this to rest.

Anyone with information in relation to this occurrence is asked to call North Bay Police or Crime Stoppers.

All inquiries should be made through Sgt Seguin at (705) 497-5573, cell 498-2736.
