Police seek assistance

North Bay OPP is investigating a fail to remain motor vehicle collision that took place earlier in December 2006.

On Wednesday December 6th, 2006, at approximately 7:00 p.m. a light coloured van was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of Highway 17 in the area of Golf Course Road, West Nipissing, Ontario. The van forced a westbound vehicle in the ditch and collided with two other vehicles. The van did not stop and continued eastbound on Highway 17. A number of pedestrians walking on the highway witnessed the collisions. Police are asking these pedestrians to come forward and assist with identifying the driver of the van.
