Police lay drug trafficking charge

Yesterday evening following a search warrant conducted at an apartment on Front Street, police arrested and charged three people.

Craig Alanzo McIntosh, age 40, of Mississauga, was charged with:

  • one count of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking;
  • one count of possession of hydromorphone pills for the purpose of trafficking;
  • one count of possession of property obtained by crime.

McIntosh was held in custody pending a show cause bail hearing.

Police also charged a 54-year old North Bay man with one count of possession of cocaine and a 41-year old North Bay woman with one count of possession of cocaine.

Both were released from custody with court appearances scheduled for July 7th.

North Bay Police seized over 95 grams of suspected crack and powdered cocaine, five suspected Hydromorphone pills and a large bundle of Canadian currency.

The estimated street value of the drugs seized is over $14,600.
