Police identify pedestrian killed on Highway 11 in Temiskaming Shores

OPP have identified a man struck and killed by a vehicle on June 6 on Highway 11 North.

Shortly before 1:30 a.m. Temiskaming OPP responded to an accident involving a pedestrian on Highway 11, north of Roland Road, in Temiskaming Shores. 

The man was standing on the roadway, and was struck by a southbound vehicle.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, and has been identified as a Gregory Gosselin, 28, from Kirkland Lake.

Highway 11 was closed in both directions for several hours.  

The OPP's Technical Traffic Collision Investigators and the Office of the Chief Coroner- Ontario Forensic Pathology Service were assisting with this investigation.

The OPP has concluded its investigation, and no charges have been laid.
