The Timmins Police Service, working in concert with the North Bay Police Service, said in a news release this afternoon that the human remains found off of Hwy 655 are those of Charles Bemrose, 59, of North Bay.

Bemrose had been reported as “missing” to the North Bay Police service in August of this year.
His vehicle had been located in a remote area off of Hwy 655 on October 5th, then his body was found on November 13th with the assistance of North Bay Police detectives.
"An intensive post-mortem examination has concluded with a positive identification of the deceased person. The next of kin have been notified by officers with the North Bay Police Service," concludes the release.
