PODCAST: Inch and Lowery discuss recent contentious housing decisions

Coun. Sara Inch shares an email she received about a doctor who planned to move back to North Bay but did not want to live in Laurentian Heights due to the stance the homeowners took against the construction of semi-detached homes

North Bay City Councillors Sara Inch and Jamie Lowery join Small Town Times editor Dave Dale in the North Bay Echo Community Podcast studio.

In the podcast clip above, the two councillors discuss two recent rezoning matters, one that North Bay City Council has already approved regarding allowing for the construction of high-end semi-detached homes in Laurentian Heights, and another that will be addressed during the Feb. 27 regular meeting about the rezoning of a property near the intersection of Premier Road and Premier Villa condos.

Both faced fierce opposition from nearby residents.
