Last week’s North Bay Blooms Business Garden of the Week honours went to Boston Pizza.

The real story of the day is that Jenny Sawyer, a server at the restaurant, volunteered to weed and dig up the flower beds out front. The resident gardener says she is pleased Mike Gibb, the owner of Boston Pizza, gave her free rein in creating and maintaining the flower beds.

“The beds add a vibrant shot of colour to the east side of the restaurant while the front garden is full of pink and white blooms and the patio area is decorated with hanging planters,” notes Kathryn Takacs, North Bay Blooms Chair.

“Next time you are at the restaurant, take a moment and enjoy the flowers!”

“Congratulations on a job well done and on behalf of all of us at North Bay Blooms thank you for taking pride in the appearance of your business and helping beautify North Bay,” she adds.
