Cher takes the stage Friday night during the 8th annual ‘Lads ‘n’ Lashes' benefit for the North Bay and Area AIDS Committee.

For the past 11 years divas Robin Loren and Georgie Girl have packed up their trunks, loaded up a van full of celebrities and headed to North Bay to put on their one of a kind drag show ‘Lads ‘n’ Lashes, and for the past 8 years the Girls have produced the show as a benefit for the North Bay and Area AIDS Committee.

Once again, with very little promotion, it was a sell out crowd as the ladies took to the stage at Cecil’s Eatery and Beer Society on Main Street. Robin, Georgie and special guest Chris Edwards thrilled the audience with their unique brand of humour along with performances from a dozen celebrities including Dolly Parton, Cher, Madonna, Whitney and even Dame Edna.

Proceeds from the benefit go to support local HIV/AIDS Education and Support Services.
