Update #1 Traffic will be detoured around the Main West and Timmins Street area until approximately 3 p.m. so a North Bay Hydro crew can replace the pole damaged in this morning's crash.

Traffic has been slowed on Main Street West after a pickup truck struck a hydro pole and police, fire, and paramedics are present.
First responders arrived at the scene near the intersection of Main West and Timmins Street around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday to assist following the single-vehicle collision.
A witness told BayToday the driver escaped without major injuries but the air bag did deploy due to the crash.
Reports say there was no immediate loss of power.
