Phones are out in Chisholm Twp

Bell phone lines have been severed in the north west area of CHISHOLM Twp. Approximately 50 customers are affected and without telephone service. These customers have no access to 911 emergency services.

Residents affected by this outage may still use cellular phone service if available. They may also attend the Powassan OPP Detachment where police personnel are stationed and will respond to emergencies.

Bell Canada is working to correct the problem.
