A barricaded person incident in Perry Township has ended peacefully with one person being treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Yesterday the Almaguin Highlands OPP responded to an incident at a residence in Perry Township.
Due to the nature of the incident and the location, the road was closed in both directions to ensure public safety say police,
The person voluntarily exited the residence and safely surrendered to police without incident and was apprehended and taken to hospital for assessment.
The OPP's Emergency Response Team, Tactics and Rescue Unit, Canine Unit, uniform and crime unit members, and Emergency Medical Services assisted with the investigation.
