Well, Naomi tells BayToday that approximately $750 in donations have been made and more orders and inquiries keep coming in.

"We are thrilled with the response and the turnout at the photo op in North Bay. Even in the really cold temps.

"Sara (Carson) is thrilled and I even had a retired nurse offer to help knit in North Bay," an excited Naomi said.

Sanderson is now at 136 orders and by almost non-stop knitting has 50 completed.

"I knit through Christmas by air and car. Took one day off yesterday while travelling. I’ll be back at it today."

She calls it, "The little idea that’s grown!"
