Parry Sound man charged with possession of Child Porn

Members of the Ontario Provincial Police Child Pornography Section (Project "P"), in conjunction with the West
Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police have charged a 34 year old Parry Sound man following a Child Pornography investigation.

On Monday, 26th of March 2007, as a result of an investigation started by the West Parry Sound Detachment, police executed a Criminal Code search warrant on a Parry Sound residence. Officers seized a desktop computer and diskettes that are believed to contain evidence of child sexual abuse (Child Pornography).

Charged with one count of Possession of Child Pornography is Vance SALMON of Parry Sound. The accused is scheduled for a bail hearing on the 28th of March 2007 and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound, Ontario.

The investigation is continuing.
