After 12 years as manager of the Barclay House retirement living center, Donna Chaulk retired on Friday the same day Barclay House was recognized by North Bay Blooms for Business Garden of the Week.

Desneiges Foisy (pictured right) specifically runs the garden program and help residents get involved with or just to enjoy the patio and surrounding gardens.

Located beside the bypass the manicured gardens and grounds are pleasing to the eye to passersby and again create a great impression of North Bay for those driving by on the highway or Chippewa Street.

"Like many of the business gardens around town, Barclay House is designed and maintained by professional landscapers ... congratulations as well to Turf King, a mother & daughter gardening team, for doing a great job for all of us to enjoy," says North Bay Blooms spokesman Chris Mayne.
