Organizers close to Special Olympics Ontario Winter Games goal

Organizers of the 2015 Special Olympics Winter Games say the goal to raise $405,000 is now well within reach. They are looking to make a final fundraising push to make the January 29th to February 1st event a success.

Organizers of the 2015 Special Olympics Winter Games say the goal to raise $405,000 is now well within reach.  

They are looking to make a final fundraising push to make the January 29th to February 1st event a success. 

The fundraising initiative is helping over 350 athletes and their coaches from across Ontario participate in the winter games.

Any interested parties still contemplating signing up as sponsor or participating through the “Adopt-an-Athlete” program, are encouraged to do so by Tuesday, December 16th or to at least make their commitment known to Games Manager, Cst. Merv Shantz, so that they can be included in the official games program.
