Wawa - The Ontario Provincial Police Superior East Wawa Detachment is currently investigating a single motor vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 17, 80 Kilometres South of Wawa Ontario. The collision occurred on Thursday the 18th of September/ 2007. The driver of the motor vehicle failed to remain at the scene of the collision.

The driver was described as Male White, approximately 6’ tall, slim build, short brown hair and possibly wearing eye glasses.
