The Almaguin Highlands Detachment of the OPP is currently investigating an incident that appears to be a theft or potential carjacking.
The incident took place Sunday morning at 11:45 on Midlothian Road in the Township of Ryerson.
The caller reported they were driving down the road when they saw someone lying beside a bicycle on the roadway.
Thinking the person may be hurt, the motorist stopped and opened the car door to ask if the person needed help. At that point, the caller said two other people started running towards the vehicle.
The motorist closed the car door and immediately left.
