A North Bay man has learned that a sure way to get into trouble with the law is to sell drugs to cops.

City police say the investigation began in April when a man tried to sell methamphetamine pills to another man, who it turns out, is a member of the Street Crime Unit.

Before midnight on Thursday, May 19th police watched a woman enter a man's home on the 2000 block of Trout Lake Road and then leave on foot.

Police searched and arrested her on Cassells Street a short time later seizing 195 methamphetamine pills, with an estimated street value of $1,365.

April Geggie, age 27, of North Bay was charged with:

  • One count of trafficking; and
  • One count of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

She was later released from custody with a court date scheduled for July 5th.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday June 7th,  a man turned himself in to police headquarters.
