Canadian Film Festival Schedule now available and features 2 local short films

North Bay Film is pleased to announce the schedule for its 9th Annual Canadian Film Festival:

Friday February 10 -

6pm: Starbuck
(French with English subtitles)

8:30pm: Cloudburst
(Director Thom Fitzgerald will be in attendance for the screening and discussion)

Saturday February 11 -

12pm: Surviving Progress

2pm: Short Film Showcase FREE ADMISSION
(Including picks from TIFF’s Top Ten list of 2011 and 2 locally-produced short films)

3:30pm: Monsieur Lazhar
(French with English subtitles)

8pm: I’m Yours (Director Leonard Farlinger will be in attendance for the screening and discussion)

9:30pm: Gala Reception at WKP Kennedy Gallery for all-access pass holders and gala ticket holders

Sunday February 12 -

12pm: Cafe de Flore
(French with English Subtitles)

3pm: A Dangerous Method

All films will be screened at the Capitol Centre in downtown North Bay.

All-Access passes and individual tickets are now on sale at the Capitol Centre Box Office or online at capitolcentre.ca

All-Access passes are $60 for northbayfilm members and $70 for non-members.

Individual tickets are priced at $10 for all films, except for Saturday night’s Gala presentation of I’M YOURS, which is priced at $12.

Saturday’s short-film showcase is free and open to the public.

All student tickets are $6 (valid student ID must be presented at the box office at the time of purchase).

Local short films featured in the Short Film Showcase include Jim Calarco’s ONE WISH and Kevin Hoffman’s THE LAKE.
