One lane open following Serious MVC on HWY 17 Update

North Bay OPP advise the public that as of 12pm Highway 17, west of North Bay is now fully open.

Beaucage Township – North Bay OPP and members of the Traffic Technical Collision Investigation (TTCI) are currently investigating a serious single motor vehicle collision on Highway 17, west of North Bay, Ontario, near the Look-out. The collision occurred at approximately 7 a.m.

The lone occupant has been transported to the North Bay General Hospital with serious life threatening injuries. At this time, the driver’s name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.

One lane has been reopened to traffic. Investigation is still ongoing.
