The Festive R.I.D.E. program that started on Wednesday November 29th, 2006 resulting in one impaired charge for the North Bay OPP Cluster (North Bay, Mattawa and Powassan Detachments). This important initiative continues until Tuesday January 2nd, 2007.

Total Number of Motor Vehicle Collisions: 20

Total Number of Fatal Motor Vehicle Collisions: 0

Total Number of People Killed: 0

Total Number of People Injured: 5

Total Number of other Charges (Criminal and non): 2

Officers stop traffic in an effort to encourage sober driving. One impaired driver is one too many!
