Officer assaulted

North Bay Police

On the 14th of Dec. shortly before 6 PM, officers of the North Bay Police Service responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of Lakeheights Rd.

The officers attended and while trying to apprehend a man, he bit one of the officers drawing blood.

Curtis James HARJU 26 years old of Lakeheights Rd. is charged with Assault Police and remains in custody.

The officer received minor medical attention.
