Occasional Teachers & Near North Board reach tentative agreement

The Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation District #4 Occasional Teachers’ and the Near North District School Board have reached a tentative four-year collective agreement. The contract was ratified by the Board, at its regular meeting last evening.

Over the next 2 days, occasional secondary school teachers will be voting on the tentative agreement at the seven secondary school locations.

The Near North District School Board has approximately 240 occasional secondary teachers who belong to OSSTF District #4 in secondary schools in the districts of Nipissing and Parry Sound.
