Nipissing University Physical and Health Education Students (NUPHES) will be representing Nipissing University and the City of North Bay at The University of Western Ontario in London this weekend.

From Thursday March 17th until Sunday March 20th, the Nipissing students will be competing against over 30 teams from Universities across Canada in the Kin Games which represent kinesiology, human kinetics, and physical education programs from a variety of Universities across Canada.

Over the four days, the teams will be competing in a variety of academic and athletic activities. This is Nipissing University's inaugural year in the Games, and they are hoping to make a big impact. Nipissing will have to work extra hard because their Physical and Health Education program has only been around for four years.

"The NUPHES are going to set the bar high, really high." says Matt Adamson, President of the NUPHES. "We need to show them that even the small schools can compete with the big ones. We've got a very spirited group of students going, and we're all really excited."

The NUPHES Executive Council has been working diligently coordinating the team since October. They have also completed some pretty extensive fundraising through bottle drives, pub nights, and dodge ball tournaments.

The Physical Education students are very excited to represent Nipissing University, and the City of North Bay in this prestigious event.
