Now I gotta cut loose ... Footloose Reminder

The curtain is set to rise on The Company's 2012 musical production of FOOTLOOSE tonight at 7:30pm in the Widdifield Secondary School.

For months Director Jocelyn Bell-Summersby has been putting Joe Mick (Ren), Krista Schoen (Ariel), Jamie Boudreau (Willard), Emily Hawton (Rusty), Devon Bisaillon (Rev. Shaw Moore) and a cast of 30 others through their paces learning lines and songs, while Angela Nicholls and Marg McDiarmid ran the choreography with the troupe.

The musical, which visits all the favourite songs from the 1984 film, centres around Ren McCormack , an upbeat Chicago teen who moves with his mother to a small town where, as a result of a tragedy that touched the local minister, dancing and rock music have been banned.

The show runs in the Widdifield Secondary School Theatre January 11 – 14.

Tickets are $10.00 and can be reserved by calling the school ahead of time or they can also be purchased from any cast member or at the door.

Curtain time is 7:30 pm sharp.
