UPDATED: Currently people are required to complete the active screen by either scanning the qr code on the door, visiting the site and completing it there, or answering the questions presented by the security team upon entering.

In addition food court seating is unavailable at this time.  Lastly, our guest services team as well as other retailers are accepting cash payment, I would recommend if people are concerned about payment method they can contact the individual stores directly.

Original Story Here:

For the first time in 2021, North Bay shoppers can go to Northgate Shopping Centre.

It's hard to believe that stores may be busy with Christmas returns in the month of March.

Northgate Shopping Centre opened its doors again to the public on Monday but just like COVID-19 has commonly created, this opening has a different look to it.

Shoppers can only enter the building through the parking garage entrances as mall officials say confirmed on the shopping centre's website that all other entrances are closed.

"It is a requirement for all parties entering the building to scan the active screen code and answer the questions prior to entering," the Mall stated in a release.

Mall hours have been adjusted and some store hours may vary as well.

The Mall will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday to Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

"Please contact individual stores directly to confirm their opening and closing hours," Mall officials added.

Meantime, limited seating is now available in the Food Court.

"If you are eating in please keep your mask on until you are seated to eat," Mall officials said.

As required by the Medical Officer of Health non-surgical face masks are mandatory when entering indoor public spaces.

Guest Services is open during mall hours for the following services: gift card sales, hand sanitizer, information, and now rentals.

The Shopping Centre notes that only debit and credit card payments are accepted at this time.

The Mall adds a number of stores are still offering curbside pickup including Roots, Soft Moc, Peoples, Michael Hill, Maurices and EB Games.
