According to a survey done by BuzzFeed, North Bay is considered the 2nd most underrated community in the country.
The social news and entertainment company surveyed Canadians, who seemed very impressed with our Northern Ontario community, and Northern Ontario in general.
North Bay finished just behind the Northern Ontario community of Wawa for top spot in the internet poll.
"The city straddles several masses of water (Ottawa River, Great Lakes Basin, Lake Nipissing, Trout Lake) which means serene sceneries and and breathtaking views," BuzzFeed stated about North Bay, adding some of their readers thought North Bay had the best foliage in Ontario.
Northern Ontario, Bay of Fundy, and Cavendish Beach in P.E.I. rounded out the top 5. .
