Further to the ongoing Police investigation of an assault on September 14th, at the 100 block of Lakeshore Drive; at approximately 7:45pm a group of male youths attended at this address over a stolen bicycle. A scuffle occurred at the door to this residence and two men fell from the porch. The homeowner was then assaulted by Joshua Pink 18 years of age, of no fixed address. The homeowner suffered a laceration to his head and other facial injuries and as a result of the incident. Joshua Pink was arrested on September 17th, 2007 for assault causing bodily harm.
On September 19th, the homeowner, Christian Babin, 42 years old of Lakeshore Drive was also charged with possession of stolen property and assault as a result of this incident, and subsequently released on these charges.
