Comedian Rick Mercer created quite a stir locally when he visited Laurentian Ski Hill March 5.
He was with the Nipissing Trackers, taping them for an upcoming segment of the Rick Mercer Report to air on CBC television.

Nipissing Trackers is a free downhill ski program for special needs children, This year is the biggest season yet, with 30 volunteers providing approximately 350 lessons to roughly 50 students, and their families over a five-week period.
Now we know the date.
Rick and Kay-Sea Taylor, Nipissing Trackers Co-ordinators have just received word yesterday that the Nipissing Trackers story will air on the Rick Mercer Report next Tuesday, March 20 at 8 p.m. on CBC-TV and it will repeat on March 23 at 7 p.m..
After the broadcast, it will also appear on http://rickmercer.com and on his YouTube channel.
