A North Bay man now faces several child pornography charges after the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre tipped off city police September 19th.
They said that an unknown person was on an image hosting website online, and was posting images of child pornography.
A search warrant was executed at a North Bay home by city police and the Greater Sudbury Police Service Cybercrime Unit where an arrest was made.
Several devices were seized during the execution of the search warrant and are pending further forensic analysis says Staff Sergeant Richard Dubeau.
Following an investigation into the child porn incident Jeffrey Summersby, 46, of North Bay, is charged with:
- Possession of Child Pornography (2 counts)
- Making Child Pornography available online
Summersby was held in custody for a bail hearing.
