North Bay Man faces charges including sexual assault

The North Bay Police arrested and charged a 35-year old North Bay man with one count each of sexual assault, assault and unlawfully in a dwelling on Friday night around 8 pm. It is alleged that on Thursday at approximately 10:30 p.m.

The North Bay Police arrested and charged a 35-year old North Bay man with one count each of sexual assault, assault and unlawfully in a dwelling on Friday night around 8 pm.

It is alleged that on Thursday at approximately 10:30 p.m., a female teenager known to the accused visited him at his workplace where he sexually and physically assaulted her.

When the female victim left on foot, the accused cycled to her residence and entered it unlawfully before she arrived.

Upon her arrival, the victim needed to wake up her parents for assistance in getting the accused to leave the home.

North Bay Police will not be releasing the name of the accused as doing so may lead to the identity of the victims.

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
