Canadian Blood Services would like to express its gratitude to the North Bay Community for their overwhelming support at the last Blood Donor Clinic located at the Clarion Resort Pinewood Park on November 6th & 7th. We asked that North Bay residents donate blood during the month of November in tribute to the military men and women who have served, or are currently serving, our country and they stepped up to the challenge with flying colours.


It is because of your generosity that we were able to collect 273 units of blood, thus saving many lives.


Thank you to the first time donors who visited our clinic and we look forward to seeing you again. A big thank you also to the sponsors and all the volunteers. A blood donor clinic would not succeed without the efforts of its volunteers, sponsors and communities’ commitment to saving lives.


Making a blood donation helps ensure an adequate supply for hospital patients in need. Please consider bringing a friend or family member to the next clinic at the Clarion Resort Pinewood Park on December 4th & 5th.
