Back in late December the reality TV host and entrepreneur unveiled his circle of advisors, and one of them is very familiar to North Bay residents.

Among those on his leadership advisory committee include former Ontario Premier and North Bay native Mike Harris.

Other advisors include former Conservative Sen. Marjory LeBreton along with the committee lead Mike Coates, who worked with former prime minister Stephen Harper.

Reports indicate Harris was asked to talk to O’Leary about the good and the bad about running for the candidacy.  The discussions between the two began this summer.

Harris’ last public event appearance in North Bay was at the Osprey Links Golf Gala in Callander back in mid August where he backed his energy policies after Premier Wynne publicly blamed the Conservatives of the early 2000’s for the current high energy rates.
