The NoahStrong Foundation recently gave back to a healthcare organization that helped the person the foundation was named after.

The organization emerged from the impact of Noah Dugas who humbly united and inspired communities through exemplary values of kindness, compassion, determination and bravery. Noah Dugas, a young hockey player, passed away from a stroke in the fall of 2020.

"Our mission is to honour Noah's legacy by supporting families and communities," the Foundation states.

The Dugas family, father Dave, mother Jodi and daughter Jorja were thrilled to be able to give back through the Foundation to Holland Bloorview Research.

Noah received treatment at the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, located in Toronto, in the summer and fall of 2020.

"We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to make this special donation to the Holland Bloorview Research Institute in memory of Noah," the Dugas' stated via social media.

"It was incredibly heartwarming to see his team of healthcare providers again and thank them for the wonderful care they provided Noah and our family during our stay at the rehabilitation hospital."

"Thank you to the NoahStrong Organization for donating $25,000 in support of Holland Bloorview’s research," they stated via social media.

"Your gift honours Noah’s legacy and will have a huge impact on childhood disability research by creating a world of possibility for kids and youth with disabilities."
