No quick getaway in golf cart theft

A golf cart was among several items stolen from Osprey Links golf course this week.

City police say there were two break and enters.

One was in the early morning hours Saturday and the other in the early morning hours this Thursday.

Several yard and power tools and gasoline were also stolen.

Four North Bay men face numerous charges today following an investigation by North Bay Police Street Crime unit and patrol officers.

Arrested and charged are:

  • John Duhaime, age 44, with two counts of break, enter and commit; one count of theft of motor vehicle; and two counts of possession of stolen property.
  • Michael Duhaime, age 36, with two counts of break, enter and commit; one count of theft of motor vehicle; and two counts of possession of stolen property;
  • Tracy Roy, age 58, with one count of possession of stolen property; and
  • Ted Stanley, age 42, with two counts of break, enter and commit; one count of theft of motor vehicle; two counts of possession of stolen property; and one count of breach of probation.

All four were held in custody pending bail hearings.

Meanwhile, police today charged Jahvon Frederick-Dwyer, age 20, of Scarborough with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.

The seized drugs have an approximate street value of $1,600.

Frederick-Dwyer was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
