Nipissing University’s Students on Stage is hosting a one-day workshop aimed at education professionals on the topic of bullying. The workshop takes place on Saturday Jan 19, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
It will provide a plethora of information on bullying: what it is, who is affected and how deal with the problem. It features the following presentations:
• The Red Cross, Mac Davidson and Brett Greene: General Overview of bullying
• The Mattawa Women’s Resource Center, Laura Ross and Elisa C Guillbeault: how to deal with bullying,
• Ontario Provincial Police, Carolle Dionne: Legalities of Bullying, and
• Nipissing University Sociology Professor Christina DeRoche - bullying and students with exceptionalities.
The conference welcome takes place in the Nipissing University Theatre at 9:00 a.m. Delegates than move to breakout sessions in room F304 and F305 at 9:30 a.m. Lunch will take place from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
